Atelje Galerija, junij 2014
Atelje Galerija spiced up the summer of 2014 with the Dirty Fingers exhibition by young creator, graffiti artist and illustrator Maksim Azarkevič. Maksim Azarkevič graduated in 2013 at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana with the project “Creating a Mural on the Facade of the Trnovo Elementary School in Ljubljana”. During his studies, he participated in numerous domestic and international exhibitions and graffiti events. He has also done other interesting projects, such as painting graffiti art on the Tabor Old People’s Home, the hallways of Gimnazija Bežigrad, the Komiža hostel, the doors of the Nano Centre of the Jožef Stefan Institute, etc. The Dirty Fingers exhibition was his first solo exhibition, where he presented the graffiti he created on the walls of our gallery as well as illustrations that are not violent and not exactly political, but they are fun, mischievous and demonstrate the extreme creativity and artistic consistency of the young artist.
