PRECIOUS HUMAN

This display showcases the unique jewellery designed by the artist Aleksandra Atanasovski. The launch of this jewellery collection was accompanied by a premiere of a fashion video titled Precious Human, which summarizes the story behind the collection. The video was created by Maja Slavec in cooperation with Jakob Helb.
The Precious Human collection reveals the artist’s thoughts about the future, when our descendants will view people and humanity differently. The rings she designs from silver or gold are memories for this future, some sort of commemorative plasters that alleviate and will continue to alleviate the wounds of transience. The human skin pattern moulded into a ring is inherited from one generation to the next, leaving behind traces of human uniqueness. The two precious metals are complemented by gemstones, which in and of themselves carry their own history, memories, and a distinct energy. Aleksandra Atanasovski’s rings thus expresses the preciousness of a moment in eternity, drawing attention to the importance of personal inheritance for the future.
