THE AURA

Anda Klančič, a world-renowned artist, mostly expresses herself through designing textile objects.
In 2007, ARCADIA lightwear held a design contest, for which Klančič selected one of her body sculptures. The designers competing in this contest could select various lighting elements and materials for designing their lights.
Klančič chose optical fibre, which she subtly distributed across a sculpture made from coconut tree bark. This is how the AURA came to light, winning first prize.
