Tanja Pak earned her master’s degree at the Royal College of Art in London in 1996, after completing her bachelor’s degree in industrial design in 1994 at the University of Ljubljana Academy of Fine Arts and Design, where she has been heading the Glass and Ceramics Department since 2009.
She was appointed full professor in 2014.
Her creative focus is on sculpture, installation art, and applied glass design.
Her works are displayed at exhibitions across the globe and featured in international publications and public and private collections.
She has served as an artist-in-residence at several international institutions, such as the Corning Museum of Glass and the Creative Glass Center of America in Pilchuck in the US, and Musee du Verre in France.
She has her own design studio in Ljubljana.
